Valances

Enhance Your Windows with Custom Valances

The finishing touch that completes any room

Valances are a simple yet elegant way to enhance the look of your windows and tie together your room’s décor. Whether you prefer the classic look of scalloped edges or the clean lines of modern designs, custom valances provide a polished finish that elevates your space. Valances can be used alone or paired with curtains or blinds for added texture, color, and functionality. Perfect for the living room, bedroom, or kitchen, valances offer a versatile solution for window treatments that balances beauty with practicality.

Key Benefits of Custom Valances

Functionality meets timeless beauty

Enhance Room Aesthetics

Valances add a beautiful, finished look to your windows, making them an elegant focal point in any room. Whether you want a touch of luxury with velvet or a casual look with linen, custom valances elevate your home’s décor.

Energy Efficiency

Pairing valances with curtains or blinds can help increase energy efficiency by providing an extra layer of insulation.

Versatile Design Options

From modern to traditional, there’s a valance style to suit every room. Choose from swags, pleated valances, or tailored designs for a look that reflects your personal style.

Easy to Maintain

Custom valances are often made from durable, easy-to-clean fabrics. Regular dusting or vacuuming, along with occasional washing.

Light Control

While not meant to block out light completely, valances can work with other window treatments to control light and add privacy.

Affordable Elegance

Valances offer a cost-effective way to add elegance and style to your windows without the expense of full-length draperies or heavy window treatments.

Custom Valances Designed for Your Space

Tailored to fit your style and windows perfectly

At CV Floors and Blinds, we specialize in custom valances that are made to fit your windows and style perfectly. Whether you need a single valance for a small window or a larger, more intricate design for a bay window or sliding door, we ensure a perfect fit. Our design consultants will help you select the ideal fabric, color, and style to complement your existing décor. We offer a wide range of fabric options, from light, breathable cotton for a casual look to rich velvet for added luxury. Whether you want a modern, tailored valance or a traditional swaged design, we have the perfect solution to enhance your home.

Ideal for Living Rooms, Kitchens, and Bedrooms

Versatile for every room in your home

Valances work well in any room of your home, adding a stylish, polished look to your windows. In the living room, they frame your windows beautifully and can be paired with other treatments to create a cohesive, elegant look. In the kitchen, valances provide a fun, functional touch, allowing you to let in natural light while maintaining privacy. For bedrooms, valances add a soft, serene feel while helping to tie together the room’s design. In addition to being used for window treatments, valances can also be used as decorative elements above doors or even as room dividers to create a sense of separation in larger spaces. Their versatility makes them a popular choice for all areas of the home.

Expert Tips for Maintaining Your Valances

Keep your custom valances looking their best

To maintain the elegance and beauty of your valances, it’s important to clean them regularly. Dusting them periodically or using a vacuum with a brush attachment will keep them looking fresh. For washable fabrics like cotton or linen, machine wash them on a gentle cycle, or follow specific care instructions for delicate fabrics such as velvet or silk. If your valances are exposed to direct sunlight, consider rotating them occasionally to prevent fading. Professional cleaning is recommended for more delicate materials to ensure they stay in top condition.
